Gabriel Herrera is this year’s Senior Class Publicity Officer. His job entails the management of the class social media accounts and revitalizing school spirit and class participation, student by student. Since his entrance into the program 4 years ago, Gabriel has been the unofficial "poster child" , so he’s excited for the inclusion of a creative element in his job description. As a legacy leader, Gabriel hopes to serve as a mentor and friend to the underclassmen and everyone in the Leadership program. While he would die for leadership, Gabriel is involved in several other organizations around campus and the community. Gabriel serves on the officer board of Multicultural Acceptance Club and Sacred Heart and is the co-founder of a newly established Manteca chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby. He’s excited to pave the way to a livable, loving, and diverse world through his deep involvement in each of these groups. Although he is saddened by the thought of leaving the program at the end of the year, Gabriel looks forward to the next chapter of his life and the generous pension he’s expecting after 4 years of tireless service to Ripon High School.
